Haunted by the faded visages of lost loves and unfulfilled yearnings, he drags the listener deep down into his own private abyss as he prays alternately for both salvation and oblivion. William is a mad hermit who sleeps and dreams his life away and rarely leaves his home except for his lengthy, nightly promenade. To pass away his few waking hours he began composing and recording music in his secluded home studio--this material was soon to become known as London Dungeon. His goal in life is to complete his few remaining earthly objectives and depart.
