"Return to Me," written back in 2000, was a turning point for the band, helping greatly to define our sound. Although not even coming close to achieving its designed purpose (as stated in the lyrics), it will always stand out as one of the all-time classics from London Dungeon.
Suffering without you
Alone in darkness, my life forsaken
I once knew a great joy
So hear now my plea
Return to me my beloved
Return to me, I await your love
My days are spent in torment
Nights, filled with anguish
Must bring an end to this immortal suffering
So I beseech thee
Return to me my beloved
Return to me, I await your love
No more will I mourn in solitude
I will find you, make you my conquest
I vow to let nothing stand in my way
Now I command thee
Return to me my beloved
Return to me, you will return to me
Return to me my beloved
Return to me, come my sweet
Return to me my beloved
Return to me, oh, return to me
Return to me
